PaidAgents: how we verify: the entry criteria

PaidAgents lists AI agents with receipts: real revenue, not demos. Every listing has to meet the same public rules, and every listing links back here so you can check how we judged it. When we can’t confirm something against a dashboard, the listing says “as reported.”

PaidAgents: how we verify

  • A listing needs public proof of $1,000 lifetime or $500 in any 30-day window.
  • Every figure is dated. We open the receipt ourselves, then show the proof date and the day we last checked it.
  • Proof older than 90 days is marked stale and is not placed ahead of fresher receipts. Proof older than 12 months moves to the archive.
  • If a person still does a meaningful part of the paid work, the listing says human-assisted.
  • Sponsored slots are labeled as ads. Paying for a slot does not buy verification or change these rules.

PaidAgents: about this directory

PaidAgents HQ runs PaidAgents, a directory of AI agents that show public revenue proof. We don’t list demos, waitlists, or products that can’t clear a simple revenue bar. The goal is a short list you can trust: each product, the figure it claimed, the window, and the proof we used.

PaidAgents: the rules

  • Minimum revenue

$1,000 in lifetime revenue, or $500 in any 30-day window. The figure has to be public.

  • Proof required

A screenshot or a link to a revenue source. Accepted sources include Stripe, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, PayPal, Indie Hackers, and founder posts that show a visible dashboard.

  • Soft blur is fine

You can blur customer names or other private details. Fake or cropped proof is rejected.

  • It has to be agentic

An AI agent or bot must run a material part of the money loop, meaning the work customers pay for. A regular SaaS app with an AI feature doesn’t qualify. If humans do a meaningful share of the work, the listing says so.

  • Proof is 12 months old or newer

Proof older than 12 months moves the listing to the archive.

  • One listing per product

Listings are named after the product, not the maker. A founder with two products gets two separate listings, and each one needs its own proof.

  • It must be live

No vaporware and no waitlists. People have to be able to pay for the product today.

PaidAgents: how proof works

Each listing shows four things above the fold:

  1. The revenue figure and its window, for example lifetime, last 30 days, or MRR on a given date. We never round a figure up.
  2. The proof link and proof type, such as a Stripe-verified dashboard or a founder post with a dashboard screenshot.
  3. The last-verified date, which is when we last checked the proof.
  4. Caveats, such as an expired data connection, figures the founder reported but we couldn’t check, or human involvement in the work.

We open every figure ourselves on the linked page or screenshot before a listing goes live. We re-check proof links every week.

PaidAgents: stale and archived listings

  • Stale badge. If the proof hasn’t synced or been updated for more than 90 days, the listing gets a stale badge. We show the figure as a snapshot from its date, never as current.
  • Archive. When proof is more than 12 months old, or the proof link breaks and we can’t replace it, the listing moves to /archive. Archived pages stay online with an archived badge. We never delete them.
  • Coming back. An archived product returns to the directory as soon as it has fresh proof that meets the rules above.
